Motorsport is dangerous. Accidents can and do happen which can involve damage, injury or death; despite Queensland Raceway taking all reasonable precautions. By attending or participating in an activity at a Queensland Raceway venue, competitive or not, you acknowledge there is an obvious risk to you and your property and confirm that you have willingly undertaken this risk on your own cognisance. Neither Queensland Raceway nor any other members of the Queensland Raceway group of companies or their representatives are responsible for any loss, damage or injury to persons or property caused or sustained by you as result of attendance at any track.
Queensland Raceway may eject from its venues any persons who in its sole opinion are acting against the interests of safety and/or whose behaviour in its sole opinion is likely to cause damage, nuisance or injury. Queensland Raceway reserves the right to conduct security searches at the venue to ensure the safety of customers and other persons at the relevant event.
A full safety briefing will take place prior to any track activity. Please ensure you attend this briefing. Should you arrive too late, please report to the Event Supervisor, who will be based in the Sign On Office, where arrangements will be made for you to be briefed when the appropriate staff become available.
Other than taking still photographs for personal, non-commercial and non-promotional use, no spectators, drivers, passengers or their guests are permitted to produce or broadcast any audio, visual (still and/or moving) and/or audio-visual coverage of the venue or any activity at the venue in any media without obtaining Queensland Raceway’s prior written consent.
Queensland Raceway shall be entitled to charge a reasonable fee for the production of such coverage.
Where Queensland Raceway provides its consent to the production of coverage:
(a) any and all on-board video equipment carried in or on vehicles must be safely and securely installed in accordance with any applicable governing body regulations; and
(b) if the person making the request is a journalist, photographer and/or cameraman, such person must complete a media accreditation form supplied by Queensland Raceway, accompanied by a letter or other written communication from the journalist’s, photographer’s or cameraman’s relevant publication or company.
Queensland Raceway’s consent requires that all material will be made available to Queensland Raceway at no cost for use by Queensland Raceway for its purposes.
Cancellation Policy
Queensland Raceway is committed to providing customers with the best possible service. We aim to accommodate our customers’ needs and requirements.
Unfortunately, when a customer cancels without giving adequate notice, it prevents another customer being able to be serviced. Our cancellation policy explains the process for requesting a cancellation, the timeframes and costs involved.
All cancellations for all events must be submitted in writing by email to:

Cancellations received with greater than 30 days' notice of the event, the customer can be issued a refund or receive a credit to the customer's Queensland Raceway Profile.
Cancellations received within less than 30 days but more than two (2) business days of the event will incur a 20% of the total paid administration fee and the balance will be issued as a credit to the customer's Queensland Raceway Profile.
Cancellations received within two (2) clear business days of the event will incur a 50% penalty and receive a 50% credit to the customer's Queensland Raceway Profile.
Cancellations received within 24 hours of the event will forfeit their eligibility for a refund or a credit to the customer's Queensland Raceway Profile.
No Show to Event: A customer who fails to show or cancel their entry prior to the event, will be considered a No Show and will forfeit their eligibility for a refund or credit to the customer's Queensland Raceway Profile.
Transfer of Entry to Future Events: Customer entries to events can only be moved a maximum of twice (two times), after which time, the entry will be forfeited and the customer will no longer be eligible for a refund or credit to their Queensland Raceway Profile. In order to transfer an entry, a customer must provide a minimum of 30 days’ notice, otherwise the entry will be subject to cancellation terms and conditions.
Transfer of Entries between Customers: A transfer of any entry to any event between customers is not permitted without the prior consent of Queensland Raceway. The transfer of the entry process will be conducted by Queensland Raceway and the parties must agree on the costs prior to the commencement of the transfer process.
Credit: Any credit must be used within 12 months from the date of the initial credit.
If a customer purchases our ‘Just in Case Insurance’ at the time of entering an event and cancels their entry, a transfer of entry or credit will be applied. The Just in Case Insurance is a one-off policy applicable to the initial event.
For customers without Just in Case Insurance: Cancellations received with greater than 30 days’ notice of the event, the customer can be issued a refund or receive a credit to the customer's Queensland Raceway Profile.
Cancellations received within less than 30 days but more than seven (7) business days of the event will incur a 20% administration fee (up to a maximum of $50.00) and the balance will be issued as a credit to their Queensland Raceway Profile.
Cancellations received within two (2) business days of the event will incur a 50% penalty and receive a 50% credit to the customer's Queensland Raceway Profile.
Cancellations received within 24 hours of the event will forfeit their eligibility for a refund or a credit to the customer’s Queensland Raceway Profile.

Refunds to this event are not available. An entry reserve list is compiled by Queensland Raceway. Customers wishing to transfer an entry must contact Queensland Raceway to arrange the transfer to the next contact on the reserve list and secure payment between the parties. A transfer fee of $50.00 is payable to Queensland Raceway prior to the transfer completion. All transfers must be completed within seven (7) days of the event.
No Show to Event: A customer who fails to show or cancel their entry prior to the event, will be considered a No Show and will forfeit their eligibility for a refund or credit.
Refunds are not offered for any Spectator Tickets purchases. If a customer is no longer able to attend their ticketed event, they are permitted to nominate an alternative spectator for that ticket.
Venue Hire Terms and Conditions:
1. A deposit of 20% must be paid within 7 days of receipt of the invoice to confirm and secure the booking date. If the deposit is not received within that time, the date will be released and made available to other hirers.
2. Cancellations or rescheduling of an event date 21 or more days prior to an event date will incur a $250 administration fee.
3. The balance of the invoice must be paid within 21 days prior to the event.
4. There are no changes or cancellations permitted within 21 days of the event. Any customer who fails to complete their event without modifying their booking prior to the 21-day cutoff shall forfeit their booking and all monies paid unless they are able to sell their event date to another hire. The new hirer and their event must be approved by Queensland Raceway and a transfer of hirer fee of $250 is to be paid to Queensland Raceway.
5. No alcohol, glass or animals are to be brought into the venue.
6. A representative must present to the circuit office before using the circuit.
7. All hired equipment must be returned to the circuit office.
8. Any loss or damage to equipment, hired or included in the circuit hire, including the circuit, shall be charged accordingly.
9. All rooms and facilities used must be left clean and tidy or a cleaning fee will be imposed at $250 per hour.
10. To ensure that our venue is kept to our high standard, at the end of the event, all pit bays and the paddock area must be clean and tidy (ie do not leave behind andy zip ties, tape, rubber, rubbish etc).
11. At no time should car parts be placed in our bins.
12. No refuelling, lubrication or mechanical repairs are to be conducted on the circuit, unless specifically included in the event plan.
13. Management reserves the right to expel any person/s whose behaviour is deemed unruly, offensive or dangerous to themselves or others.
14. The Corporate Suite must be left clean and tidy with all bins emptied, surfaces cleaned, floors vacuumed and mopped. A cleaning fee of $250 per hour will be imposed should the facility not be left in a satisfactory condition.
15. Any fuel drums or gas bottles bought onsite are to be removed from site on the day of the hire. Any fuel drums or gas bottles left onsite will incur a $250 fine per pallet/crate or part thereof.
Credit: Any credit must be used within 12 months.
A credit to the customer's Queensland Raceway Profile or transfer to another event will be offered to the customer as a first preference. Refunds will only be given if a resolution cannot be reached between the customer and Queensland Raceway. Contact to Queensland Raceway to organise this must be made within one month of that event.
For any re-bookings more than 30 days prior to a scheduled event date, there shall be no penalty applicable. For any re-bookings 30 – 14 days prior to a scheduled event date, a re-booking fee of $50 shall be applicable. For all bookings made directly with Queensland Raceway, this shall be processed by way of placing the appropriate credit on the customer’s Queensland Raceways Account to enable the customer to re-book at a later time. For all experiences booked through a third party supplier (Adrenaline, Red Balloon, Experience OZ etc.) these arrangements must be made with the supplier directly.
There are no booking changes permitted within 14 days of an event. Any customer which fails to attend their experience booking without modifying their booking prior to the 14-day cutoff shall forfeit their booking & all monies paid.
Refunds are not offered on any V8 Race Experience purchases. If a customer is no longer able to attend their booking, they are permitted to nominate an alternative participant.
If the experience is cancelled by Queensland Raceway, all bookings are to be rescheduled to a new date.
Driver Training Centre / Drift Playground:
Customers making a total of ten (10) or more bookings to hire the Driver Training Centre can receive a 20% discount. When ten (10) or more bookings are placed at the same time, the 20% discount will apply to all bookings. If bookings are made individually, the discount will apply to the tenth and following bookings until the end of that calendar year. Discounts cannot be applied retroactively.
Main Track:
Customers making a total of ten (10) or more bookings to hire the main track can receive a 10%discount. When ten (10) or more bookings are placed at the same time, the 10% discount will apply to all bookings. If bookings are made individually, the discount will apply to the tenth and following bookings until the end of that calendar year. Discounts cannot be applied retroactively.
Supercar Ride Days:
$1,500 per car charged to the team. Insurance, pitlane control, track control, medical and recovery to be provided by Queensland Raceway.
Minimum cars required = six (6).
Maximum cars per day = 12.
Gift Vouchers:
Gift vouchers are valid for three (3) years from the date of issue. Unused values will not be refunded or attributed to any transactions after the expiry date.
Gift vouchers can be redeemed against online products only at Queensland Raceway.
Gift vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash, returned for a refund, have their balances consolidated to a new voucher, or be replaced after expiry and are not legal tender, account cards, credit or debit cards or securities.
If your purchase exceeds the value of the gift voucher, the balance must be paid by debit or credit card.
If you return any products you have purchased using a gift voucher, the balance will be credited to you as a credit note and is to be redeemed against subsequent purchases.

Queensland Raceway Operations Pty Ltd reserves the right to cancel a gift voucher if we deem such action necessary. If so, we may either provide a replacement gift voucher of equivalent value unless we suspect fraud in relation to a gift voucher. The gift voucher remains our property.
Queensland Raceway Operations Pty Ltd can vary or replace these conditions from time to time (including to introduce new fees).
