Motorsport is dangerous; accidents can and do happen which can involve damage, injury or death; despite Queensland Raceway taking all reasonable precautions. By attending or participating in an activity at a Queensland Raceway venue, competitive or not, you acknowledge there is an obvious risk to you and your property and confirm that you have willingly undertaken this risk on your own cognisance. Neither Queensland Raceway nor any other members of the Queensland Raceway group of companies or their representatives are responsible for any loss, damage or injury to persons or property caused or sustained by you as result of attendance at any track.
Queensland Raceway may eject from, its venues any persons who in its sole opinion are acting against the interests of safety and/or whose behaviour in its sole opinion is likely to cause damage, nuisance or injury. Queensland Raceway reserves the right to conduct security searches at the venues to ensure the safety of customers and other persons at the relevant event.
A full safety briefing will take place prior to any competitive track activity. Please ensure you attend this briefing. Should you arrive too late, please report to the Event Supervisor, who will be based in the Control Tower, where arrangements will be made for you to be individually briefed.
Other than taking still photographs for personal, non-commercial and non-promotional use, no spectators, drivers, passengers or their guests are permitted to produce or broadcast any audio, visual (still and/or moving) and/or audio-visual coverage of the venue or any activity at the venue in any media without obtaining QR’s prior written consent.
QR shall be entitled to charge a reasonable fee for the production of such coverage.
Where QR provides its consent to the production of coverage (a) any and all on-board video equipment carried in or on vehicles must be safely and securely installed in accordance with any applicable governing body regulations; and (b) if the person making the request is a journalist, photographer and/or cameraman, such person must complete a media accreditation form supplied by QR, accompanied by a letter or other written communication from the journalist’s, photographer’s or cameraman’s relevant publication or company.
QR’s consent requires that all material will be made available to QR at no cost for use by QR for its purposes.
Cancellation Policy
Queensland Raceway is committed to providing customers with the best possible service. We aim to accommodate our customers’ needs and requirements.
Unfortunately, when a customer cancels without giving adequate notice, it prevents another customer being able to be serviced. Our cancellation policy explains the process for requesting a cancellation, the timeframes and costs involved.
All cancellations for all events must be submitted in writing by email to:

Cancellations received with greater than 30 days notice of the event, the customer can be issued a refund or receive a credit.
Cancellations received within less than 30 days but more than two (2) business days of the event will incur a 20% administration fee (up to a maximum of $50.00) and the balance will be issued as a credit.
Cancellations received within two (2) business days of the event will incur a 50% penalty and receive a 50% credit.
No Show to Event: A customer who fails to show or cancel their entry prior to the event, will be considered a No Show and will forfeit their eligibility for a refund or credit.
Transfer of Entry to Future Events:Customer entries to events can only be moved a maximum of twice (two times), after which time, the entry will be forfeited and the customer will no longer be eligible for a refund or credit.
Transfer of Entries between Customers: A transfer of any entry to any event between customers is not permitted without the prior consent of Queensland Raceway. The transfer of the entry process will be conducted by Queensland Raceway and the parties must agree on the costs prior to the commencement of the transfer process.
Credit: Any credit must be used within 12 months.
If a customer purchases our ‘Just in Case Insurance’ at the time of entering an event and cancels their entry, a transfer of entry or credit will be applied. The Just in Case Insurance is a one-off policy applicable to the initial event.
For customers without Just in Case Insurance: Cancellations received with greater than 30 days’ notice of the event, the customer can be issued a refund or receive a credit.

Refunds to this event are not available. An entry reserve list is compiled by Queensland Raceway. Customers wishing to transfer an entry must contact Queensland Raceway to arrange the transfer to the next contact on the reserve list and secure payment between the parties. A transfer fee of $50.00 is payable to Queensland Raceway prior to the transfer completion.
No Show to Event: A customer who fails to show or cancel their entry prior to the event, will be considered a No Show and will forfeit their eligibility for a refund or credit.
A deposit of 20% must be paid within seven (7) days of returning the Venue Hire Agreement to secure the hire date. The full invoice must be paid seven (7) days prior to the hire date. Cancellations within seven (7) days of the hire date will incur a 20% administration fee. The balance paid by the customer can be issued as a refund or the customer may receive a credit.
Credit: Any credit must be used within 12 months.
A credit or transfer to another event will be offered to the customer as a first preference. Refunds will only be given if a resolution cannot be reached between the customer and Queensland Raceway. Contact to Queensland Raceway to organise this must be made within one month of that event.
For any re-bookings more than 30 days prior to a scheduled event date, there shall be no penalty applicable. For any re-bookings 30 – 14 days prior to a scheduled event date, a re-booking fee of $50 shall be applicable. For all bookings made directly with Queensland Raceway, this shall be processed by way of placing the appropriate credit on the customer’s Queensland Raceways Account to enable the customer to re-book at a later time. For all experiences booked through a third party supplier (Adrenaline, Red Balloon, Experience OZ etc.) these arrangements must be made with the supplier directly.
There are no booking changes permitted within 14 days of an event. Any customer which fails to attend their experience booking without modifying their booking prior to the 14-day cutoff shall forfeit their booking & all monies paid.
Refunds are not offered on Any V8 Race Experience purchases. If a customer is no longer able to attend their booking, they are permitted to nominate an alternative participant.
If the experience is cancelled by Queensland Raceway, all bookings are to be rescheduled to a new date.
Driver Training Centre:
Customers making a total of ten (10) or more bookings to hire the Driver Training Centre can receive a 25% discount. When ten (10) or more bookings are placed at the same time, the 25% discount will apply to all bookings. If bookings are made individually, the discount will apply to the tenth and following bookings until the end of that calendar year. Discounts cannot be applied retroactively.
Main Track:
Customers making a total of ten (10) or more bookings to hire the main track can receive a 10%discount. When ten (10) or more bookings are placed at the same time, the 10% discount will apply to all bookings. If bookings are made individually, the discount will apply to the tenth and following bookings until the end of that calendar year. Discounts cannot be applied retroactively.
Moto Ride Days:
From 1 January,2019, riders are entitled to receive each tenth (10th) ride free of charge. The free of charge ride does not count towards the next free entry.
V8 Experience:
Customers purchasing ten (10) or more vouchers at the same time, can receive a 10%discount. To receive the discount, the vouchers must be purchased from the Queensland Raceway office so that the discount can be applied at the time of purchase. Discounts will not be applied retroactively.
Supercar Ride Days:
$1,500 per car charged to the team. Insurance and pitlane to be provided by teams. Medical and recovery to be provided by Queensland Raceway.
Minimum cars required = six (6).
Maximum cars per day = 14.
