Events run at Queensland Raceway will transition to AASA(Australian Auto Sport Alliance), Motorsport Australia (MA) and Motorcycling Australia (MCA) going forward.

From the 16th of February, sanctioning and licencing for car activities will fall under AASA while anything on two-wheels will be MCA.

Australian Auto Sport Alliance

AASA will honour licences from other sanctioning bodies at Queensland Raceway until the 31st of December 2022, or until customers’ current licences expire, whichever comes first. This will avoid any out-of-pocket expense for our customers as the transition progresses.

There is nothing immediately required of customers, as their current licences they use for events will remain valid until the aforementioned dates.

Motorcycling Australia/Motorcycling Queensland

Queensland Raceway’s two-wheel customers attending events such as QR Moto Ride Days will need to transition to Motorcycling Australia/Motorcycling Queensland (MQ)licences.

To ease the process, the QR Moto Ride Day on the 17th of February will include a free single day event licence for all participants who have a current track licence with another sanctioning body.

We will also be providing a coupon code for customers to use that gives them 50% off an annual MQ licence if purchased before March 14th.

Event entry/Event Sign on

Event processes will only change slightly, depending on which event you are entering.

Our event entry portal on the Queensland Raceway website will not ask you to purchase a licence when you enter but will let you know which licence you require for your event.

From there you can navigate to the right sanctioning organisation and pre-purchase a single event licence or set up an annual licence.

Our staff will be able to help you with that process at the track on event days.

Quick wordfrom Tony Quinn

We appreciate that there are a few changes happening quickly, but can I absolutely assure you that all the changes are for the better (much better).

The changes will provide a more consistent & safer environment for our customers to use the track for whatever endeavour they choose, be it motor racing, motorcycle racing, drifting, roll racing or even nude bicycle riding!(If that's your thing?)

As the new era begins at Queensland’s number one motorsport precinct, we hope you continue to support us as we develop new & exciting formats & look after your existing favoured events.

The new cafe will be open mid-March, the new Alitrax lighting system will be installed also in mid-March, in-field drainage has had a major birthday after 15 years of neglect, shade for spectators is close to being complete, the new corporate suites, garages and viewing decks will all be open in June....stay tuned for more!
