Show n Shine
Gate admission into the Ipswich Classic Motorfest includes entry into the Show n Shine where cars and bikes will be displayed along Dick Johnson Straight. Judging will take place between 9.00am - 11.30am on Saturday followed by a couple of display laps on the QR National circuit. Club Cruze Sessions
Cruzing sessions (Saturday & Sunday) will be open to all drivers with a classic motor vehicle or bike. Also an opportunity to show off your club to other motoring enthusiasts by cruising enmasse. Cruzing laps of the QR Clubman circuit will be untimed... so you travel at your own speed... no pressure at all to go fast... but at the same time you can feel free to let loose without fear of breaking the law. Muscle Car Cruzing
V8 Muscle Cars will have their own cruze sessions at the QR Classic Motor Fest. Unleash the power of your prized possession..... race your mates... do some skids... no pressure, just opportunity.... entry details
Classic Motorcycle Cruze
Classic Motorcyclists will also be catered for at the QR Classic Motor Fest with their own cruising sessions on the QR Clubman Circuit... entry details
Timed Sprints
Sunday is competition day at the QR Motor Fest. Timed sessions of 5 laps duration will be held on QR Sprint Circuit. Trophies will be awarded to the fastest drivers in each class... entry details
Regularity Trials
If you like competition but don’t want to push your vehicle to its limits, then try the Regularity events on Sunday. A timed practice session is held early in the day. You then nominate the time you intend to lap the QR Sprint Circuit during the competition. During the two 5 lap competition sessions, penalty points are scored for every 1/10th of a second you are off your nominated time. To win... be the most consistent driver having scored the least number of penalty points at the end of the regularity.... sounds simple enough!... entry details
Off Track Entertainment
Bring the tent, caravan or motorhome and make a full weekend of the QR Classic Motor Fest. Camping will be permitted over the Easter Weekend. You can even hang around to see the Porsche owners play on Monday.
